TV audience: The Portugal-Spain match brings fans together

There was a great spectacle on Friday evening on TF 1. The football match between Portugal and Spain, which ended in a draw (3-3), gathered 8.2 million fans, that is, 37.7% of the audience.

In the back, France 2 did not risk rebroadcasting the French series “Candice Renoir”, which still collects 2.2 million viewers (audience share 9.6%).

France 3's entertainment channel, “300 Choirs Celebrate Music”, received 1.9 million viewers singing along (10.2% PDA*).

M6 relied on rebroadcasting old parts of the series NCIS: Special Investigations. The American series did not shine and ranked fourth with 1.3 million views (5.5% PDA).

On other channels, the best performing magazine was “Enquête d'action” on W9, with 690,000 viewers.

Earlier in the evening, TF1 news had been moved forward to 7:15pm due to the ensuing football match, which was not helpful. It attracted 2.4 million viewers (17.3% of the audience). At 8pm, France 2 achieved a much better result with 4.2 million people watching (21.1% PDA).

* The viewership rate for the France 3 program is higher than the viewership rate for the first episode of the France 2 evening series, despite the decrease in the number of viewers because its duration was much longer.
