Nearly 2,000 visitors to Science Village

A highlight of the Vaucluse Science Festival, the Science Village broke attendance records on Saturday 7 October on the Clock Square and in the City Hall. Nearly 2,000 visitors (according to organizers) flocked to the 30 stands of this 32nd exhibitionH The edition that puts sports in the spotlight. Enables young and old to experience science in all its forms with researchers from the University of Avignon, INRAE, museums, associations, training organizations, companies and more.

The festival continues until October 16 in 14 cities in Vaucluse. In Avignon: an exhibition at the Maison de la Poésie, a science café about sports and the heart (October 10, 8:30 pm at the Françoise restaurant), a visit to the Tipi urban farm (October 11), an exhibition Ce que dit of plants and “scientific improvisation” ( October 20 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.) in Grenier à sel, visits to fab manufacturing laboratories, an exhibition and conferences on Jean-Henri Fabre (1823-1915) at the Requien Museum (October 13, at 6 p.m.), in the Sud-Rocade District Town Hall (5 October at 6 p.m.), at City Hall (October 12 at 6 p.m.).
