Entertainment. Granby Cultural and Community Life and the City of Granby as well as the Granby Youth Ambassadors (JAG) invite people to participate in activities undertaken by Granby youth this fall. On the menu: a Halloween party for kids ages 12-17 and a second edition of the video game fair for the entire population.

On Saturday 28 October, from 7pm, young people aged 12-17 are invited to an evening full of puzzles and amazing costumes! JAG has spooky surprises for them, a magical dance floor and delicious treats. It’s also the perfect opportunity to show off your sewing skills and creative side, as there will be a costume contest with a photo booth.

The monster party will take place at l’Escale, at 80 Albert Street, from 7pm to 10pm. Proof of identification will be required upon entry: only persons aged 12-17 will be admitted. free entry.

Video game gallery

From 10am to 9pm on November 4, video game fans of all ages are invited to attend the second edition of Video Game Expo! The event will be held again this year at the Notre Dame Center (270 Principal Street). Entry and all activities will be free. It will be possible to buy candy, popcorn, etc. ($).

Areas will be provided to play different games: ancient, modern and virtual reality. There will also be demonstrations of speedrunning (the art of completing a video game as quickly as possible) by professionals. Tournaments will also be offered with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. climax.
