With the SR-X50A and SR-X40A, Yamaha hasn’t reinvented speaker design. On the other hand, the Japanese brand has incorporated enough technologies and options into it to make it fun and effective to use in the living room. On paper, the two speakers are identical, with Dolby Atmos compatibility, wifi, Bluetooth, HDMI eARC output, HDMI input, or a possible optical connection.
