Neutralize important IPTV traffic

A measure in the Netherlands allowed an anti-piracy group to neutralize IPTV traffic in the country.

At the end of April, anti-piracy group BREIN neutralized an illegal IPTV dealer in the Netherlands. The happy distributor ran a platform called All-in-One-Premium-TV which resold IPTV boxes with subscriptions in a totally illegal way.

His traffic would have allowed him to amass a small fortune. The man resold his boxes in Holland as well as in neighboring countries.

BREIN contacted the IPTV vendor shortly after it was officially identified. The man managed to remain anonymous for years. Soon he agreed to stop his activities and report to the group all the details of his completely illegal work. His attitude allowed him to avoid severe punishment. An agreement was reached on a single payment of 2,500 euros. However, the closure stipulates that if his activities resume, the man will have to pay 500 euros in expenses per day.

Over the past few months, the organization has neutralized several IPTV vendors, online streaming and download platforms in the Netherlands.

For customers of a reseller who have been neutralized, cessation of activities may mean a permanent disruption of services. However, no details were released about it.
