“Negotiations are very difficult,” Mr. Podolak said in a message to the press, expressing regret that “the Russian side adheres to its traditional methods of popular pressure on the negotiation process, especially through certain statements.”

“It is clear that the emotional aspect of the operation today is heavy,” he commented, explaining that “the Ukrainian delegation is working exclusively within a pro-Ukrainian and transparent framework.”

Several hundred civilian bodies, according to the Ukrainian authorities, were found in recent days in towns around Kyiv, including Bucha and Irpin, after the withdrawal of Russian troops from this area at the end of March.

Moscow denies any involvement and denounces the “gradual” orchestrated by the Ukrainians with the aim of harming him.

Earlier today, Russian President Vladimir Putin, for his part, denounced the “inconsistency” of Ukrainian negotiators, which, according to him, prevents an agreement between Kyiv and Moscow to end the Russian attack on Ukraine.

“There is no doubt (that the Russian goals will be achieved), they are quite clear and noble (…) The main goal is to help the Donbass population,” in eastern Ukraine, where supporters proclaim themselves- the Russian separatist republics are located, he stressed during a trip to the Russian Far East .
