Looks like Battle Royale has been confirmed
In the latest episode of the Xbox Two podcast hosted by Rand al Thor 19, he explained that he has information indicating that Battle Royale is working fine and has been in development for over two years. He also refers to it as a “big project” that could also be standalone like Warzone.
Typical elements of the genre will be present as the combat zone is reduced as the game progresses, but it is also clear that the mode is expected to have its own identity.
We also learn that it should be linked to Forge, without further details. The number of players per game and the size of the mode remains to be determined.
