The 20-year-old Moroccan international, Ezz Abdo, is now working closely with the famous Portuguese agent, Jorge Mendes, according to a number of Spanish media.
Last week, the Barcelona presidents met with Jorge Mendes and a number of people from Abdel-Samad El-Zalzouli’s entourage to talk about the future of the young Atlas Lion.
The meeting took place in a restaurant in Barcelona in the presence of the Portuguese agent who also deals with Nico Gonzalez, Ansu Fati and Alejandro Balde. According to the Spanish media, discussions centered on the future of Ezz Abdi recently under the tutelage of Integral Advising Football Agency.
Although his presence was important to help ahead of the winter transfer window, the truth is that it seems complicated for Abd to play his place in Barcelona’s first team. So Mendes is responsible for finding the best possible result for him so that his progress at the highest level is not compromised.
No one is denying the 20-year-old Moroccan’s talent, but many feel that he does not have the level required to be a regular player in Barcelona’s first team. Azzuli’s most likely options include an additional season with Barcelona B, a season-long loan or a permanent transfer.
