Eclipse Vocal Group and Incubator Experience invites all people who would like to sing in a group to participate in the Choral Experience next Thursday 7 December at 7pm in Terrebonne.
For this occasion, a variety of the most popular Christmas songs has been created as voted on the web by people who love choral experiences. So it will be a festive moment as the holiday season approaches!
What is the choir experience?
In 2018, Hugo Valiquette, President and Director of Éclipse – the vocal group, experimenter and trainer at Expérience incubateur, launched the idea of creating ephemeral choirs, where people come together in an evening to rehearse and record one song! So, during the choir experience, everyone interested in singing meets as a group at 7pm to rehearse and then record the song. It is then shared on social media to know the result. To participate, you do not need experience in choral music. All you need to do is share, sing and enjoy the music in the evening!
How it works ?
To participate, people are invited to go to http://experiencechorale.com. On the site people will find all the information necessary to formalize their participation and pay the $20 registration fee. Then, people can listen to the frame associated with their voice (high, medium, or low) as well as the lyrics and score. Before trying the chorus, just listen to the lyrical score a few times.
What happens during a choir experience?
On Thursday, December 7 from 6:45 p.m., people are invited to gather at 640 Monterey Mason, Suite 100 in Terrebonne, and early in the evening, participants will rehearse the song together. Around 9:15pm, we record the song and at 9:45pm, we celebrate with a great evening of music! In the days that followed, video of the evening was shown on the social media sites of Eclipse – the audio group and incubator of the experience.
What song makes up the Christmas mix?
The December 7 Christmas set includes excerpts from the songs “It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas,” “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” “Feliz Navidad” and “Glory Alleluia.” For musical director Hugo Valiquette: “This piece of music will be truly festive as the holiday season approaches! I invite you to get into the Christmas spirit and sing with us as a gang! You will experience a unique moment of collective music!”.
