In 1any January 20231234 private general practitioners in mainland France participated in this network, of which 685, 608 and 543 participated in STI surveillance in 2020, 2021 and 2022, respectively. They announced, during this period, 1,199 cases of bacterial sexually transmitted diseases: 883 diagnoses Chlamydia
293 for gonorrhea and 111 for syphilis. Among these cases there was 85 cases of co-infectionespecially Chlamydia-Gonococci.
Infection rates have increased significantly For these three STIs diagnosed in general practice between 2020 and 2022 (see figure). if Doubled for gonorrhea and syphilis (respectively +91% and +110%), STDs remained the most common Chlamydia
With an increase in the infection rate of 16%: 102 cases per 100 thousand people in 2022, compared to 44/100 thousand cases of gonorrhea and 21/100 thousand cases of syphilis.
Increase in the rate of tests (in the absence of symptoms) Among the reasons for prescribing biological testing was observed during this period, for each of the three sexually transmitted diseases (an increase from 47% to 57.2% of diagnosed cases ChlamydiaFrom 18.4% to 35.3% for gonorrhea and from 32% to 50% for syphilis).
