The horizon for 2019 looks bright for the Indie Campers. The Portuguese company created in 2013 is thriving and it has been the most fulfilling year. Expanding the network, even more users occupied, expanding the fleet of trucks and teams across Europe, reviewing the year achieved and dropping targets for 2019.
Growing business
In just one year, Indie Campers has doubled the number of camping trips in Europe, increasing from 3,000 to 6,400 road trips. Ranked among the most important camper rental companies in the Old Continent, Indie Campers won no less than 25,000 passengers, which is an 80% increase over last year over the same period.
With the aim of being able to satisfy the ever-growing number of customers, the fleet of Indie Campers has also been greatly expanded thanks to the operation of an additional 250 vans, for a total of 650 vehicles available in the ten European countries in which the company is present.
In order to maintain its results, Indie Campers intends to expand and one hundred new people will join the ranks in 2019.
New destination catalog
Indie Campers expands the field of possibilities for its travelers who want to experience an authentic adventure across Europe in their very own campervan. Within a year, the company had doubled the number of countries introduced to Fan Live fans thanks to openings in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Croatia and England. These new destinations have been added to Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and France, bringing the total number of countries served by the company with color trucks to 10.
And Indie Campers don’t intend to stop there.
Ambitious goals for 2019:
Indie Campers intends to continue their momentum. The fleet will reach the milestone of 1,000 vans and three new destinations will complete the range of countries with the opening of Ireland, Scotland and Iceland.
New cities will also be introduced within the countries already open to freedom-lovers from June: Berlin, Dublin, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Hamburg, Reykjavík, Nantes, Zagreb, Liverpool and Manchester.
Finally, Indie Campers hopes to reach 20,000 bookings in Europe. So, go for an indy game !
