Morocco and Portugal will meet on Saturday (December 10th) in the quarter-finals of the World Cup. But who will get a place in the semi-finals?
Moroccan Walid Regragui made a surprise by eliminating Spaniard Luis Henrique in the round of 16. It was not an easy match as both teams took penalty kicks. A maneuver that Morocco won, especially thanks to its goalkeeper, Yacine Bounou. Their presence in the quarter-finals of the World Cup is historic, but they do not intend to stop there.
As for Portugal, the whole team is fighting for the coveted star and one last trophy for Cristiano Ronaldo, the only one who misses it. Fernando Santos’ men humiliated Switzerland (6-1) and qualified for the quarter in style. The match against Morocco is a chance to prove that they are true contenders for the title.
