. Pay 6 Euro
The Taiwan Film Festival runs from September 30 to October 8. In its fifth edition, there will be a selection of nine Taiwanese films. The film will be attended by director Lu Yi An and actor Mo Tzu Yi. Their new movie, Goddamned Asura, will represent Taiwan for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards.

FILMOSA FESTIVAL was created by the association “FILMOSA”.

The founders of “FILMOSA” met in 2018 to create a non-profit cultural association. The association’s name, FILMOSA, is the amalgamation of two words, one for Formosa and one for film. The term “Formosa” comes from the exclamatory term used by Portuguese sailors when they first saw the island of Taiwan. Film is the heart of the association. By combining the meanings of the two words, FILMOSA will remain a place of exchange, discoveries and encounters, in order to share the culture of Taiwanese cinema with the French public.

In this year 2022, in its fifth edition, we have chosen for you nine films according to three axes: 1. The choice of the year. 2. Filmmaker of the Year – LOU Yi-An; 3. Japanese Taiwanese documentaries. The film will be attended by director Lu Yi An and actor Mo Tzu Yi. Their new movie, Goddamned Asura, will represent Taiwan for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards.
