On Earth Day, artist Dumillepo, “the inventor of songs” from Saint-Lambert, presents 10 copies of his composition The last song, Presented by dozens of artists, in many languages.


Longueuilloise Suzi Silva, Paul Cargnello and Marco Calliari, among others, have responded to his call, which he launched this fall.


Artists from all walks of life (La Léa, Rania Nabil Hussain, Victorai Sound, Julie Alverez Thomet, Sallie & Oliver Mitchell, Yvetka) mostly transformed the original piece, sung by Dumillepo in French, by rendering it in European Portuguese , English, Italian, Catalan, Arabic, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Haitian Creole and Ukrainian.


The singer-songwriter sums up a “global message for peace and a call for change, radically, to save the planet, a global response from artists.”


The last song It is the fifth single from the album to come this fall. It can be found on postecoute.ca and on all music platforms, by Distribution Amplitude.


Since 2009, Domlebo has released four solo albums. Like him, he says, his songs are committed to “environment, peace, social justice, coexistence, openness and acceptance of immigration and all diversity”. (ad)
