Paris Saint-Germain condemns a Portuguese whistleblower!

At the origin of the numerous leaks compiled under the name “Football Leaks” that have struck the world of football, the Portuguese whistleblower, Rui Pinto, was sentenced on Wednesday in Paris to a six-month suspended prison sentence by a Paris judicial court. Paris Saint-Germain leaders breakthrough. Last September, Pinto already received his first four-year suspended prison sentence by the Portuguese courts, in another case against him before the investment fund Doyen Sports, on charges of committing eight computer crimes and attempted extortion.

As a reminder, this case comes on the heels of the complaint filed by Paris Saint-Germain in 2019 after the revelation of possible hidden tax fraud by former players Javier Pastore and Angel Di Maria, but also the supposed racial registration by the Parisian training center. Rui Pinto is accused of hacking into email inboxes, downloading attachments, and private conversations between three Paris Saint-Germain executives: Benoît Le Sèche, director of finance, Frédéric Longopin, and Emilie Boisseau, administrative assistant.
