If the atmosphere at the Democratic convention was extremely charged and ratings were higher than those at the Republican convention, make no mistake! The battle is still particularly close.

Agreements must first and foremost rally supporters. We must demonstrate, at best, that the political party is united and that we are united in support of the champion.
Everything is accompanied by false messages and emotions, whether artificial or real, aimed at driving voters to the polls. In this respect, it is a success on both sides, even if the tone and message are completely contradictory.
The advantage I recognize for Democrats is that they have done more and better to reach other voters, those who will make the difference. We have erased almost all the more progressive references, those presented by opponents as “communists” or “woke”. We will take the fight more to the center.
Support for troops and veterans, solidarity, patriotism, mutual aid, protection of democracy at home and in the world, refusal to go back, positive thinking, respect for individual rights or freedom of choice are not very revolutionary.
Whether the message is carried by a 60-year-old white man from rural areas, Tim Walz, or a black woman from California, Kamala Harris, we touch everyone and promote inclusion. The Obamas’ message is served with Kamala Harris sauce.
Harris cemented her message of unity by speaking like a prosecutor to a judge: “Kamala Harris for the people, Kamala Harris for the people.”
The upcoming polls should show a continued lead for Kamala Harris. If she can't hope to achieve a comfortable lead, she could consider maintaining the pace of the past few weeks.
Content Testing
If Democratic enthusiasm is running high and the convention originally planned to crown Joe Biden is deftly repurposed, conservative media have raised legitimate questions. New York Post Her headline on Friday morning was: “There is no plan Kamala Harris.” Kamala Harris has no content.
The next hurdle in the 110m hurdles is the media event. Harris must now explain his position to interviewers who have not been won over. How will the plan presented so far be implemented?
Then comes the debate test. Given what we heard Thursday night, Harris sounds more free, more energetic, and more confident than she has since she took the plunge. Trump can’t count on a similar collapse to Biden’s in June.
