If you have an Android phone, you probably use the Google Photos app to store all your photos and videos online on the internet giant's servers. A useful tool that automatically stores captured photos in albums, which can then be shared with your loved ones. This also applies to documents that you take a photo of, such as receipts, invoices, or various identification papers. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the app separates documents from your real photos by merging them into a dedicated section. But until now, it has not been allowed to classify them manually. With this new feature, your photocopied documents, which are automatically categorized according to their category, can be manually categorized. So, when you view the image full screen, you'll see a small icon in the upper left corner, indicating the category it's supposed to correspond to. Clicking on it will bring up the “Edit Categories” and “Show All Documents” options. The first allows you to choose one or more categories that correspond to the image in question, while the second allows you to access the entire list of your documents.
Google offers nine categories: Screenshots, Identity, Event Information, Books & Magazines, Payment Methods, Notes, Recipes & Menus, Receipts, and Social Networks.
