Cruel Joke: Five young people flood the home of a frail elderly person by filming themselves

Five young men from the UK are wanted for pulling a cruel prank on a “vulnerable” elderly person by allegedly flooding his home by placing a garden hose in the letterbox last Wednesday.

“We know that the faces of the people in the photos cannot be clearly seen, but we believe their gestures and clothing will be recognizable to those who know them,” Lincolnshire Police said on Facebook on Friday, according to the Independent.

Last Wednesday night, five young men sneaked into the front door of a “vulnerable” person’s home with an attached garden hose in hand, police said.

She continued: They would then place the pipe in the mail slot located in the front door of the residence, before activating the flow of water by escaping.

The British newspaper pointed out that in the pictures taken by surveillance cameras and published by the police forces, we can see one of the delinquent youth holding his cell phone in his hand, as if he was filming the scene.

But police are not laughing at the potentially cruel joke as they describe it as “anti-social behaviour” that caused “criminal damage” to property.

The police continued: “We are asking for help in identifying the people in this video, and we hope that our community can help us.”
