The most important works concern the replacement of part of the Parc School roof and the external insulation of Victor Hugo Primary School.
School holidays are a good time to keep empty buildings for their students. Otun also takes advantage of the summer to carry out construction sites of different nature and importance in different municipal schools.
Depending on the type of work, they are carried out by local authority services or by local businesses.

The three structures that hosted the Town Hall at Clos Jovet School are in the process of being relocated. The Franco-Portuguese Association of Otunwa will move at the end of 2023 to 9 avenue Mermoz in the Saint-Andoche district in the former building of the Otunwa Family Association. Guilds can be transferred to the Espace à la Vie Associative.
For all these investment works totaling almost half a million euros excluding taxes, a grant application has been requested from the department of Saône-et-Loire and the state under the “Green Fund”.
