A mother and father in Massachusetts wrote a thank you letter to the police officer and his oath for help finding their daughter and her friend after they disappeared. Unaware of 5-year-old Heidi Tredelow Matheran turning away from Raymond Park in Cambridge, from a babysitter’s point of view she was sending her parents into a panic late Monday afternoon. Heidi said, “So my friend and I were playing in the park. Then we were gone.” “I thought about the worst things.” Matheren, the girl’s mother, Giada Tredillo, said Heidi’s parents quickly called the Cambridge Police Department. “I saw them, in fact, from the front of the house, running with their cars (their game) to the playground.” Said Mattern. Cambridge Police: “They saw her with CCTV cameras from the school around the corner, then asked people in the neighborhood.” “The area was filled with police officers.” “The detectives all came to help.” Lyons spotted the missing girls for about half an hour searching at an intersection some distance away. Two blocks from the park. ”I was like,“ Oh my God, could they be “Am I the lucky one who found them?” Since members of Cambridge Police Force K-9 visited Heidi on her birthday in April, she wanted to become a police officer. She admires the officers, and her parents are very grateful to them, Tredelo Mattern said. “She brought us our daughter home. It is the biggest gift someone can give us. ”So, thank you. She came home just because of you. ”Lyons said,“ It’s nice to get paid for the job, but it’s moments like this that really make the difference. ”“ That’s what makes a career. ”Lyons says one of the keys is that Heidi’s parents called the police Within 10 minutes of their daughter and her friend gone missing, he said minutes matter in these situations.

5-year-old Heidi Tredelow Matheran didn’t realize that moving away from Raymond Park in Cambridge, out of sight of a babysitter, would cause her parents to panic late Monday afternoon.
Heidi said, “So my friend and I were playing in the park. Then we were gone.”
“I thought about the worst that could happen,” said Mattern, the girl’s mother, Giada Tredillo.
Heidi’s parents quickly called the Cambridge Police Department.
“I saw them, in fact, from the front of the house, running their cars (their game) to the stadium,” said Tredelo-Mattern. “They saw her with the surveillance cameras from the school in the corner, and then they asked the people in the neighborhood.”
“The area is inundated with police officers,” said Cambridge Police Officer Stephen Lyons. “The investigators all came to help.”
The Lions spotted the Lost Girls for about half an hour searching at an intersection two blocks from the park.
The officer said, “I was like, ‘Oh my God, could they be them? Am I the lucky person who found them? “
Evers since members of Cambridge Police Unit K-9 visited Heidi on her birthday in April, she has wanted to become a police officer on her own. She admires the officers, and her parents are very grateful to them.
“She brought our daughter home. It’s the biggest gift someone can give us,” said Tredelo Matheran. “So thank you. It’s only at home because of you.”
“It’s nice that he gets paid for the work, but it’s moments like this that really make the difference,” Lyons said. “That’s what makes a career.”
