Veterinarians advise against giving an animal for Christmas

The Quebec Veterinary Association is warning residents against purchasing a pet as a Christmas gift because of the many responsibilities involved over a long period.

“Owning a pet is an investment over fifteen years and requires a lot of self-sacrifice and money,” explains Dr. Michel Pepin. Unfortunately, you have to choose the animal in moderation.
