Solar eclipse viewing party at Mississippi Infinity Science Center

Feigned. Well, local libraries help make sure you can watch a show in the sky safely. Yes, they pass freely. Yes, ECLIPSE glasses are free this week for next Monday's event. You can pick it up at the St. Tammany Parish Library throughout the week while supplies last. The Jefferson Parish Library will distribute 3,000 glasses starting Friday. New Orleans Libraries will have glasses available from April 4th through the 8th, and the giveaway is limited to three pairs per family. The New Orleans Library is also participating in the Noon MO screening event

The INFINITY Science Center in Burlington will host a viewing party starting at 9 a.m. The event promises a day full of science fun, featuring a live broadcast of the eclipse from NASA.
