The Museum of Arts and Characters of the Middle Pyrenees opened its doors Sunday on Museum Night. In addition to the permanent collections, the public can discover the exhibition produced with the students of ESAD, whose opening was a real success with hundreds of visitors.
This is the fourth edition of the ‘Night of the Museum’ for this space that reopened in 2018 and was affected by the ban due to the pandemic. During the four guided and commentator tours, nearly a hundred visitors, both adults and children, traveled despite the cold and rain. A coach of fifty Portuguese tourists came from Lourdes for the occasion.
The museum is currently developing partnership actions, such as welcoming district principals. They are trained in matters relating to their profession within a public museum setting.
An opportunity for teachers to discuss with Mathilde Bonhomme, a qualified interviewer who will assist them with their plans for visits with students and any project related to the museum and heritage in general. It is responsible for developing children’s support and creating playful media as a discovery aid.
The ESAD Ceramics exhibition will be visible until September 17th at the Museum – Arts and Characters in the Middle Pyrenees.
