The former Devils boss has unveiled his first pick at the helm of Portugal, as he must lead a new generation to the pinnacle of world football.
Portugal have a whole new golden generation and have called upon Roberto Martinez to guide them to heights. Former Devils coach Domenico Tedesco unveiled his first pick today. Information No. 1 concerns Cristiano Ronaldo, who has already been called up by our former coach.
However, the first Portuguese fans to interact on social networks are not entirely satisfied with the selection, believing that too many players from the previous generation are still present. Some fear, on Twitter, that Roberto Martinez’s history at the helm of Portugal will be similar to what he knew with Belgium: devoid of a trophy.
