North Korea intensifies its “war preparations”

(Séoul) The North Korean leader Kim Jong-un inspected the military navies in the new camp staff directly at the southern naval forces at the moment when his sons paid intensively with “guerre advances”, on behalf of the media. 'condition.

During a visit to a shipyard in Nampho, a port city about 65 kilometers southwest of Pyongyang, Kim provided an update on the warships under construction as well as preparations for a “big new plan” outlined by the ruling party. No details were provided regarding this plan.

“Strengthening naval power is the most important issue to reliably defend the country's maritime sovereignty and intensify war preparations at the present time,” the official news agency quoted Kim as saying.

The North Korean leader “expressed his hope that shipyard workers will succeed in building the world's largest warships,” the Korean Central News Agency said.

The nuclear-powered submarine was on Mr. Kim's list of strategic weapons at a major ruling party congress in 2021, along with a hypersonic warhead, spy satellites and solid-fueled intercontinental ballistic missiles.

North Korea launched what it called its first “tactical nuclear attack submarine” last year, but according to the South Korean military, it does not appear to be operational.

Analysts said it appeared to be modified from an existing diesel-electric submarine, originally designed in the 1950s, raising questions about its limitations and vulnerabilities as a submarine.

Mr. Kim, who recently described South Korea as a “principal enemy,” has dissolved government agencies dedicated to reunification and communications with Seoul, while threatening to declare war if his neighbor encroaches on his territory by “0.001 mm.”
