[Le chat est terminé]

Thank you all for your questions, which brought back many memories. I'm sending you all a big hug and I hope to see you on stage on this French tour, which I'm looking forward to.

Teresa: How was your latest album received in Portugal?

I'm lucky to have an audience that gives me a great welcome with every one of my albums, it's amazing.

As for “Nos Fiançailles” France/Portugal, it was not distributed in Portugal because at the same time my album LIVE at the Atlantic Pavilion was released, which achieved great success. I am very happy and would like to sincerely thank this loyal audience of mine.

Millicette: What is your greatest accomplishment, your greatest pride Tony?

My children.

Maddie: When are you coming to give us a little concert in Canada?

I went there last year, in Montreal and Toronto. I have great memories, especially Montreal, which I loved! I hope I will have the opportunity to return there as soon as possible. Canadians are wonderful and very welcoming.

Alexandra: I don't know if you remember, but one day you sang in Aldro near Barcelos. I was sitting on the stage and you were the one who handed me the microphone to sing with you. At the end I signed an autograph and wrote “For the best singer of the night” 🙂 I was 4 years old! I would like to become a singer one day in Portugal, what do you advise me?

I find this story very sweet and endearing, and I hope you become the singer of your dreams. I am very happy to be a part of your beautiful childhood memories. This is a very nice gift for me, and the best advice I can give you is to believe that you can and will succeed, and that is power!

Florence: Hi Tony, do you read the messages you receive on your Facebook page?

Yes, everyone, I go there every day and I, a total non-internet user, am totally addicted! I would love to know what people have to say, to tell me, that there is this possible and simple interaction between us, this complicity, it is a wonderful tool!

Sandra: When will you have a duet with your son David? And why not a song about family with your three kids?

This is something I hope will happen someday.

Natalia: I would simply like to ask you what is your favorite dish here in France and of course in Portugal?!

My favorite Portuguese dish: FEIJOADA A TRANSMONTANA. For those who don't know, it's a dish made from beans! I love it, and even more so I know how to do it!!

My favorite French dish: a good cassoulet (from Toulouse) which I love but unfortunately, don't know how to cook. Can someone help me?!

Dennis: You play concerts in big venues. Is there a specific place or stadium that you dream of singing in? See you soon in concert in Porte Maillot and also in Lille and Metz!

There would be many but if I had to pick just one or two, I'd admit I'd really love to sing at the Royal Albert Hall in London or at Bercy in Paris! And so we'll see you soon in these three cities, tell me dear Denis in the audience in Metz and I'll introduce you to the stage 🙂

Sandra: Since there are almost no seats for your concert at the Palais des Congrès in Paris on 10/18/2014, will you add a date?

We love it. I'll be sure to let you know soon. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to it! After touring some beautiful Parisian places, such as Olympia, Palais des Sports and Zenith, I am very curious and impatient to go to this beautiful stage of the Palais des Congrès. Will you be there, Sandra, I hope? 🙂

Fernanda: Tony, I first saw you at a small dance party in the Paris area when I was just starting out, 27 years ago! Were these moments formative for the rest of your career?

Yes, I learned a lot from that time. It is a very good school. These moments are an integral part of my life and remain among the best moments of my career. I'm really glad you told me that because it always brings back very good memories!

Katarina: From your last album, what is your favorite song? Why?

It's hard to answer you, Katarina, because I love them all. But some of them, over time, have actually become my favorites. Among them: “Une île” with SergeLlama, “Qui saura” with Vincent Niccolò, “La Neige au Sahara” with my friend Angon, “Sous le vent” with Natasha St Pier, and my favorite is the unreleased title “ Je Sing with your eyes closed” which I will also adapt for Portugal and in Portuguese!

Mikael: Tony, do you have any surprises in store for us at the concerts on the tour?

Oh yes!! But for now, I'll keep it a secret, otherwise it won't be a surprise anymore!!!

Louis: When you arrived in France, did you face the difficulty of living in the “slums” of Ile-de-France?

Unlike my father who knew these slums, I was lucky not to have to go through this experience. I lived in Dordan in a public housing project, and I have nothing but good memories!

José Mateus: I'm José (from Urraca Oleros Pera Baixa). We have already met at many parties and in “Vivement Dimanche”! I'm a huge fan of your songs, and I can't count the number of times I've attended your concerts. But I'm so sad that Fifi, your guitar player, is no longer here! Do we have a chance to see him again one day in this great team?

Jose, thank you for following me for so long, I am so touched. As for my friend Fifi, who has accompanied me for 25 years, even if he was not by my side on this tour in 2014, I am sure that our paths will cross again very quickly. And I'm touched that you're talking about that because he's someone I love very much. So much so that I will call him today 🙂

Annabelle: Thank you for your visit to Aix, it was a lovely memory! Will there be another CD of the second volume of your latest album?

Volume 2 of Our engagement, France/PortugalNo, but a new album in France. Yes, I am working on it! With some nods to your wonderful French and Portuguese repertoire as well, but also and above all, unpublished titles!

Sandrine: What does this new album symbolize for you?

For me, it's a wonderful adventure that I live to the fullest and really enjoy!
