On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the Langes-Epstein Twinning Committee held its general meeting in La Rocheuse.
The key point was the arrival of the Germans from September 19 to 22 at Langheis. Visit to the Archaeological Museum of Grand Brissigny, the Loire Festival in Cinque Mars-la-Belle, free time with the host families, dinner at the Astrid restaurant at the end… President Elisabeth Auger introduced a purely “Germanic” accommodation programme.
German and Portuguese friends
Because on Saturday the Franco-German group will be invited to the evening of the 25thH Anniversary of another twinning commission, the Lange commission with Gondar la Portuguise. Its president, Daniel Leite, has presented the evening, which will open with an aperitif show followed by a dancing buffet with, of course, a Portuguese orchestra. Without forgetting the official letters.
There are still some organizational details to iron out, including choosing between mussels, french fries and paella on the menus! The Cinq-Mars choir from the Écho du Breuil offered to perform a small concert.
