Football: Inferno of the Loiret derby in the sixth round of the French Cup

The draw for the sixth and final regional round of the French Cup was held on Wednesday 18 October in the early evening in Blois. But it was not in favor of the Loret clubs.

The only advantage is that there will be at least one representative from the division in the seventh round, the first at national level, with second division clubs entering the race, as the derby will be on the list for this sixth round.

FC Saint-Pryvé/Saint-Hilaire (N2) vs US Orléans (N): It is indeed the most beautiful derby because it will put the two best teams of the Loiret against each other but this helps neither one nor the other.

Neither Saint-Privé, which hopes to make another good run in the French Cup, nor the American team Orleans, which must again face the N2 team, after narrowly defeating Blois Foot (1-0) in the fifth round.

Maybe October 29th

This time, the Orléani team will not have home advantage because the match will be held at the Grand Clos Stadium in Saint-Preve. The date and time of the match is not yet official, but is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 29 (2:30 p.m.), with the US Orleans team playing its delayed national match, in Sochaux, on Wednesday, October 25.

The two teams have already met this season. It was at the beginning of August during a preparation match and they were unable to decide between themselves (1-1), as the American team Orleans equalized in extra time through Nicolas Saint-Rouf.
