Classification SS16 Rally de Portugal 2023

Highlights

Determined to stay on the podium at this Rally of Portugal and even pass Dani Sordo, Thierry Neuville ran into major mechanical problems at speed. Upon arrival, the Belgian loses a minute and a half and does not seem able to continue.

Rolling at a medium pace, like his opponents last while waiting for the power stage, Takamoto Katsuta took the opportunity to sign the first scratch ahead of Kalle Rovanperä.

In WRC2, Gus Greensmith took the lead after a one-minute penalty imposed on Oliver Solberg, author of several donuts at last night’s grand stage finish.

In this time trial, the Swede set the fastest time and is 22 seconds behind the Briton with three stages remaining. For Johan Roussel, the problems don’t seem to be solved as the French favorite loses nine seconds in just fifteen kilometres.
