BInfica dominated the final of the UEFA U-19 Champions League, winning 6-0 (first half: 2-0) Austrian Salzburg on Monday in the final at the Sports Center from Kolovray to Nyon in Switzerland. Henrique Araujo scored three goals.

The scorer was already 2-0 in the first half thanks to goals from Martin Neto (2) and Henrique Araujo (15).

In the second half, the Portuguese salted the paper with goals Sher N’Dour (53), Araujo again (57, 89) and Luis Semedo (69).

Salzburg and Benfica had already met in the final of this competition, in 2017. The Austrians won 2-1.

The Portuguese also lost the other two games he played before, in 2014, during the first edition, against Barcelona (3-0) and in 2020 against Real Madrid (3-2), the last winner. Last year, it was not possible to hold a version of the UEFA Youth League due to the health crisis.

Among the winners in this competition are Porto in 2019, Barcelona in 2018 and 2014, Salzburg in 2017, and Chelsea in 2015 and 2016.
