Paris Saint-Germain continues to add names to its transfer list ahead of this year’s summer transfer window. Now Paris Saint-Germain is studying the possibility of a successful transfer of Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.
According to a report from L’Equipe, Silva is hoping to leave Manchester City in the next summer transfer window. The Portuguese playmaker, who has two years left on his contract with Manchester City, hopes to secure a “new project” for next season.
The L’Equipe report adds that, from Silva’s point of view, “Paris Saint-Germain is a destination he really likes.”
PSG have already tried to bring in Silva to strengthen their attacking depth. PSG football advisor Luis Campos reportedly expressed interest in signing Silva during the summer transfer window last year, but the Portuguese talent ended up staying at Manchester City.
Silva has been reluctant to talk about his future with the Premier League champions. On the one hand, he indicated in March that when it comes to his future at Manchester City, “whatever happens, happens.”
Silva has remained a reliable talent for Manchester City this season. He participated in 44 matches in the English Premier League and Champions League during the current season.
