A Wyoming highway cop was nearly hit by a trailer while performing an intervention recently.

Police said on Twitter that the potentially tragic accident occurred on Interstate 80, not far from Rollins.
The truck driver reportedly lost control of his truck and tried to avoid the vehicles by moving to the left.
The policeman saw him arrive at the last moment, but managed to take cover to avoid being hit.
Road conditions at the time of the accident were less than ideal, with snow covering part of the highway.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol said no law enforcement or paramedics were injured.
“Remember, emergency personnel want to go home at the end of their shift,” the organization posted on Facebook.
“Please slow down!”
