The event, which runs until July 30, is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Embassy in France and Portugal, and the Porto authorities.

The festival aims to introduce locals to the cultural beauty of Vietnam and the specialties of Ho Chi Minh City. It also aims to contribute to the development of economic cooperation between the two cities.

According to Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Duong Anh Duc, the festival is the largest event promoting trade, investment, tourism and culture in the major southern city in Europe in 2023.

The highlight of the festival is the Ho Chi Minh City-Porto Economic Cooperation Forum, which brought together more than 100 business representatives from Ho Chi Minh City, Porto, and localities from various European countries, as well as economic and trade advisors to Vietnam in Europe. .
