Today, Friday, Portugal national team coach Roberto Martinez revealed a strong squad that includes 32 players to play the friendly matches against Sweden and Slovenia as part of his preparations for the 2024 European Championship.
Strikers Jota Silva and Francisco Conceicao are the two big new additions to this list, the last before the European Championship to be held in Germany (June 14 – July 14).
Martinez recalled Parisian full-back Nuno Mendes, who returned at the end of February with Paris Saint-Germain, ten months after suffering a serious hamstring injury.

Before leaving for Germany, Portugal, which is in Group F, will play three friendly matches at home next June, against Finland, Croatia, and then Ireland.
