Drag queen Mona arrives from Grenoble with her wigs and sense of humor to perform for her first solo show.
this Mona offered one Titled Interface design It will be released in theaters next January, throughout LaBelle County. The premiere will take place in Quebec and Montreal on November 18 and 19, 2024, respectively, according to details shared by Encore Spectacle on Thursday.
The self-described “party lady”, whose real name is Alexandre Ossan, works with half of the duo Les Denis Drolet Vincent Léonard on her stand-up performances. They are interested in, among other things, pathological obsessions, the “invasion” of drag, the “clash” between Mona and her generation, as well as gender-neutral pronouns.
“I could have called this a show Stallion in heels or Between Mattante and Baton Rouge. But after I got sober I realized that you would definitely recognize my personality which some describe as “flamboyant, saucy and ever since”. The comedian and drag queen points out Big Brother Celebrities, the reality show of which she won the third editionlast April, in addition to leaving with the audience favorite award.
Mona added: “Behind my personality, behind the makeup of the sweaty woman, there is a man hiding… who sweats more.” Mona says that she lives “an eternal duality between her and Alexander.”
