Xbox Game Show and Starfield Direct 2023 will last 2 hours | Xbox One

A pivotal event of the year 2023 for Xbox, the Xbox Game Show is officially on March 8th. Now that we know E3 2023 won’t be happening, the field is open more than ever for the Summer Games Festival as well as the Xbox Game Show, of which we have more details today.

Two hours of showtime planned for Xbox, including a good quarter devoted to Starfield

This new information is shared with us by WalkingCat on Twitter and reported by specialist journalist Tom Warren. We learned that the Xbox Game Show and Starfield Direct on June 11th should last about two hours. We can conclude that we will have about 90 minutes of show centered around global advertising and 30 to 40 minutes devoted to Starfield Direct and the popular Bethesda game. The show will take place from 7 pm to 9 pm French time.

Very few details are known at the moment, but it’s clear that gamers are eagerly awaiting games like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Perfect Dark, or even Fable.

Last year, Microsoft opted to deliver planned titles “in the next 12 months,” and it goes without saying that the company must now reveal the release dates for its next big games to reassure gamers about its ambitions for this generation.

The games most likely to get a set release date soon are definitely Hellblade 2 and Avowed, but we can also imagine seeing a certain Contraband arrive in 2024. Microsoft will definitely formalize new partnerships during its conference, see you in June live on Xboxygen !

“So the Xbox Game Show and Starfield Direct will be about two hours in total. Maybe 90 minutes for the main show and 30 minutes for Starfield.”
