Vitinha sets goals to achieve with PSG

A new player at Paris Saint-Germain, Vetnia has big ambitions and has set personal and collective goals to achieve.

The first recruit of the summer in Paris Saint-Germain, the Portuguese Vitenha gave an interview to our colleagues from the team.

The young Portuguese midfielder (22) spoke about his ambitions with his new club: “As an individual, I want to play as much as possible and help the team achieve its goals, which is to win everything. With the selection, I hope to be part of the group that will participate in the Qatar World Cup (November 21 – December 18), as well as in the Nations League. Therefore, no I have to play.”

Vetnia also hopes to score more goals in PSG than Porto: “Last season, I scored four, which is my highest total. I can do better, I can score more. I hope to do more for my partners and for the team.”

With Paris Saint-Germain, Vitinha will live his second experience abroad. The first, at Wolverhampton (2020-2021), was a failure, but he maintains the positivity, which would help him succeed in France: “I didn’t play as much as I would have liked (800 minutes in all competitions). But I grew up a bit and it gave me things that I definitely wouldn’t have had if I stayed at FC Porto. I came out of my comfort zone. It was a good thing for me, for my career development, helping me to Development. […] When you arrive in a new country, you encounter different aspects of your daily life like home, bank, food… […] It’s different, you’re away from your friends and most of your family. You have to change your habits. »
