With the ambition to become the most active city and move all its residents, Victoriaville has become the first municipality in Quebec to deploy the Propulsion app.

The City of Victoriaville is inviting its residents to use the Propulsion app now. This free mobile app encourages healthy lifestyle habits and allows you to track your physical activity, take on challenges, and earn points to win prizes.

“It’s no news that healthy lifestyle habits are part of Victoriaville’s DNA,” said Victoriaville Mayor Antoine Tardif. “After creating the Hop la Ville movement, free swimming lessons, a one-stop shop with our educational institutions to provide access to our facilities and many other innovative initiatives, we are proud to innovate again with the introduction of the Propulsion app.”

Citizens will be able to participate in five challenges throughout the fall season, in various sports such as walking, running, cycling or swimming.

Each opportunity to move will allow participants to accumulate points, thus increasing their chances of winning prizes at the end of each challenge.

The final grand prize will be an Apple Watch Series 10, as well as several gift cards to local sports businesses.

In addition to challenges, Propulsion offers weekly quizzes to allow users to accumulate more points, increasing their engagement in the process.
