Fifteen years after his first video game adventure with Unknown: Drake’s fortuneAdventurer Nathan Drake arrives in dark rooms. In this film adaptation of the hit series, the hero played by Tom Holland is recruited by Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). A complicated experiment by Tom Holland
Besides the director’s choice, another difficulty around this adaptation was finding the right actor to bring his features to the main character. Nathan Fillion was particularly considered, as was Mark Wahlberg. The latter later inherited the role of Sully, the mentor of the budding adventurer played by Tom Holland.

It was a great experience. It was much more difficult than I thought. It’s a completely different franchise than what I’m used to… Playing Peter Parker is kind of like playing a younger version of me, and playing Nathan Drake is playing someone who’s not me at all, who is obviously older than me. But as the process progressed, I had a lot of fun explaining it. I did some stunts in this movie which I am very proud of.
A mistake that should not be made again

Once you ask yourself, “Am I okay at this level?” Acting becomes something other than playing a character.
