“Circular Economy Towards a New Economic Model”, this is the theme of the third edition of “MEGARA Challenges 2022”, an international competition among smart municipal projects that will take place on November 17-18, in Gammarth (the northern suburb of Gammarth). Tunisia).
Launched by “MEGARA ASSOCIATION FOR SUSTAINABLE SMART ASSOCIATION”, a Tunisian association active in the field of sustainable development, this competition is organized in partnership with the National Waste Management Agency (ANGed) and the municipalities of Sidi Bou Said and Carthage.
It is supported in particular by the project “Protecting Climate through a Circular Economy in Tunisia (ProtecT)” implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Tunisia, the Heinrich Böll Stiftung (HBS) and the United Nations for Development (UNDP). ).
This event aims to highlight the best awareness measures and technological innovations in products and services in environmental protection and sustainable development.
