According to a press release, the new agreement aims to improve communication and the efficiency of the movement of goods between Morocco and Portugal, by providing “reliable and highly secure logistical solutions for their storage and distribution.”

With guaranteed weekly departures every Friday, Lusocargo now advertises that it is offering “faster and more competitive” delivery times, with goods arriving in Tangier in 48 hours and Casablanca in 72 hours.

In addition, the partnership allows customers to benefit from BBL Group's European road freight network, of which Lusocargo has been part of since 2021, expanding its distribution network and increasing connectivity between Europe and North Africa.

Portuguese exports to Morocco, for the first time, exceeded one billion euros in 2023, according to data from the Office of Strategy and Studies.
