Photo – 5.0/5

The picture (2.39:1, 2160p, HEVC, Dolby Vision, HDR10) clearly benefited from the 4K remastering done for this release. It results in impressive sharpness (without altering the fine silver grain), increased luster, and stronger contrasts with extremely intense blacks and vibrant colours. The clarity of many night scenes is perfect.

And Dolby Atmos remix, tested in a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 compatible format, is also up to par. Without breath, it guarantees a clear replay of the dialogues and gives a nice measure to the musical accompaniment. The feeling of immersion in the atmosphere is present and very consistent, in all scenes, outdoors and indoors. Flawless!

The French dub, if lacking a bit of naturalness, is technically well rendered by DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 encoding on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 on BD-50 Blu-ray.
