Portuguese coach in Paris Saint-Germain next season?

While Christophe Galtier’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is very uncertain, the French club has already started looking for some alternatives. Among them are two Portuguese coaches, Jose Mourinho and Abel Ferreira.

The Portuguese colony could grow within PSG. After Danilo Pereira, Nuno Mendes, Vitina, Renato Sanches, or even Luis Campos, another Lusitani could join the capital’s club. According to L’Equipe newspaperthe leaders had drawn up a shortlist of four coaches, which would certainly change throughout the summer, and which were marked by the presence of Jose Mourinho and Abel Ferreira.

As for Jose Mourinho, the rumours, which have been going around for several years, have only increased in recent weeks. The current Roma coach, who will play in the Europa League final next Wednesday, is very popular with the club. The French daily claims that in the event of an offer from PSG, Jose Mourinho will agree to become the new coach.

Regarding Abel Ferreira, the sporting director Luis Campos will highly appreciate the image of the young technician who is shining in the Brazilian side, in Palmeiras. But his lack of experience with a top club in Europe could be a hindrance to his arrival. In any case, this is the path of least certainty.
