According to information from an Italian transfer journalist, Niccol Ceccarini, the agent of 37-year-old striker Jorge Mendes, has started contacts with the vice-champion of France. The Italian journalist does not provide further information, nor does he indicate whether it was the agent who contacted OM first, or vice versa.
