In Valencia, Oliveira shines in FP4 ahead of the qualifying session… The Portuguese will have distinguished himself during this fourth session!
Before competing for the qualifying, the moto riders competed in a fourth cycle, which would have tended to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Miguel Oliveira. The Portuguese were forced to delve into the supplementary courses in a few minutes, and established a more accurate time in 1’30,762.
Monster Energy Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo inherited the second place in the quarter of a second, before Jorge Martin of Ducati Prima Pramac Racing and Pol Espargaró who rides in the HRC Repsol Honda. Then we found the second Frenchman in the person of Johann Zarco, the other pilot of the Ducati Prima Pramac race.
Luca Marini of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team and Jack Miller of Ducati Lenovo set sixth and seventh positions of the course. Spain’s Joan Mir on the Suzuki Xstar, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Brad Bender and Aprilia Racing’s Maverick Viñales completed the top 10.
A new disappointment and disappointment for the Italian championship leader, the official rider for the Ducati Lenovo team, Pico Bagnaia, Francesco, ranked after 10th place.
