New Zealand | The remains of dead children were found in specific bags

(Wellington) New Zealand police said on Friday they had identified the remains of two children found dead in auctioned suitcases, but that their names would not be released at the request of their families.

Posted yesterday at 6:21 am.

Detective Inspector Tufilao Famanuya Valois said the authorities had decided not to disclose any information that could reveal the identity of the children.

Police continue to investigate the deaths that have rocked New Zealand since the bodies were found in two suitcases two weeks ago.

It took, for this shocking discovery, for a family to purchase a trailer loaded with items sold in bulk at a warehouse.

According to the police, the children died between the ages of five and ten.

New Zealand police say the family behind the discovery has nothing to do with the deaths of the two children.

Police in Seoul, South Korea, said on Monday they had found a woman believed to be a relative of the two dead children there.

Seoul police said she arrived in South Korea in 2018 and there is no indication that she has left the area since then.
