MWC 2022 – Lenovo Revamped the Tab M10 Plus Tablet

A new tablet joins the Lenovo ecosystem. The Tab M10 Plus, the third generation entry-level tablet, gains a swipe with a slightly larger screen and a more powerful battery.

Largely marked by advertisements in the world of PCs and tablets, this Mobile World Congress welcomes a new model of its kind from Lenovo. Thus, the computer specialist, who preferred a virtual presence at the Catalan presentation, revealed the heir to his affordable tablet, the Tab M10 Plus. It is, in fact, the third generation of the device, the name of which does not change over the years.

Slightly larger than its predecessor, the new Tab M10 Plus offers a 10.61-inch IPS display (2000 x 1200 pixels) packed into a 251.2 x 158.8 x 7.45 mm case for 465 grams. The tablet is powered by the MediaTek G80 chip, which replaces the Helio P22T from the M10 FHD Plus, which Lenovo complements with 3 to 4 GB of RAM. A second version of the device, this time powered by Snapdragon 680 with 4 or 6 GB of RAM, compatible with 4G. Also calculate 32, 64, or 129 GB of storage as well as microSD card support. Also note that Lenovo has revised its version for this third generation, with the 5,000 mAh of the previous M10 giving way to an increase in battery capacity to 7,700 mAh, with charging at 20W. Support at least 12 hours of video playback. On the photo side, you have to rely on two 8-megapixel cameras, one on the front and one on the back.

Whoever says new generation, also says software upgrade. The Tab M10 Plus will be released under Android 12 in April. It will be marketed from €249, which is €50 more than its predecessor at launch.
