At the beginning of 2023, final year students at Bourdelle High School will complete their internship in a company near Valence and Lisbon.
For the past three years, the vocational school Antoine Bourdelle has been offering students of the final year vocational department the opportunity to complete their internship in a company in Spain in Vall d’Uixo (near Valencia) and in Portugal, in Almada (near Lisbon) ). This European mobility makes it possible to create, build and sustain a culture that is both European and internationally oriented.
In connection with the IES Botanic Cavanilles and the Escola Profitional de Almada, thanks to European funding from the Erasmus + programme, 12 young people will set out to experience this adventure from January 6 to February 15, 2023. They are invited, together with their parents, to sign their financial and educational contracts in the presence of the teachers supporting the project and Ludwig Robert, School Manager. Thus, 2 students of the Professional Baccalaureate in Fashion, 4 students of the Professional Baccalaureate in Commerce / Sales, 2 students of Management Administration, 2 students of the Professional Baccalaureate in Vehicle Maintenance and 2 students of Digital Systems in Spanish or Portuguese companies will be welcome to complete their training, improving their language skills. immerse yourself in a new culture and learn to live independently. They will live in shared accommodation on site and manage their daily lives thanks to an Erasmus grant that allows them to cover all their costs (mainly accommodation, excursions and various means of transport). Teachers and education staff from Bourdelle Secondary School will provide regular on-site supervision to secure a youth course or follow up training within partner institutions. From March, Spanish and Portuguese students will come to Montauban and are welcome to do internships in Montalban companies.
