Ten days before their Champions League quarter-final match, Milan overtook Napoli at Diego Maradona in Serie A (4-0). The Lombards climb the platform.

Still a wide leader, Napoli thus lost to Milan in the first of their three April encounters. The Lombards take advantage of this convincing success to climb to the podium, four points ahead of Lazio, one point ahead of Inter.
