Major computer hack at Apple and Microsoft: Here’s how to protect yourself

An iOS software security breach leaves your Apple devices vulnerable to hackers.

To fix this flaw, you must perform the iOS 16.3.1 update as soon as possible, according to the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

“Fixing this hack on these devices should be a priority,” Tim Mackey, head of supply chain risk strategy at Synopsys Softgrity, told business magazine Forbes.

Hackers can take advantage of this vulnerability in Apple to use malicious web content and perform tasks on your device without your consent.

This flaw in the Apple software makes the following devices vulnerable to computer attacks:

iPhone 8 and later

– All iPad Pro models

– iPad Air 3rd generation and later

– iPad fifth generation and later

– iPad mini fifth generation and newer

Windows and Office suite users will also be affected by another computer hack.

One expert even told Forbes that the flaw was easy to exploit.

The update to fix this bug can be found in the Microsoft Store on your device.
